Before starting this exercise you must sleep face-up on your exercise mat, fold your knees at an angle of 45 degrees to your body and place your hands behind your upper back. Lift your upper torso towards the pelvis region keeping the rest of the body still. After doing this properly, slowly return to your original position on the exercise mat without moving your knees or lower back. Regularly increasing the number of repetitions is the key to faster weight-loss.
2. Russian Twist: This exercise involves the use of a standard decline bench. Put your legs under the pads and position your hands at a perpendicular angle to the rest of the body. Rotate your arms in a semi-circular position in both directions without moving the rest of your body. Do this exercise only for a minute to begin with, increase the duration over a period of time. The best exercise that enables a decent ab workout and weight-loss at the same time is undoubtedly the Russian twist.
3. The Regular Plank: Lie down in a standard push-up position. Bend your elbows 90 degrees and rest your complete weight on your hands. Do this without moving your body even slightly. Hold this position as long as you can and increase this duration with practice.
4. AB Roller: To get rid of belly fat in a relatively short period of time, make use of the affordable and easy to operate AB Roller. Focus the AB Roller on your abdomen and pushing it forward and backward, giving your tummy a good work out. To tone your abdomen and lose weight ASAP, gradually increase your daily AB Roller work out.
5. Leg Raise: Lie down on an exercise bench keeping your body straight and raise your legs till they are perpendicular to your body. Proceed to raise your hips slowly, keeping your legs straight and flexing your abdomen; hold on for a few seconds before retreating back again.
