We all know better now than to jump on any fad diet bad wagon, but when the Weigh Down Diet has been going for over a decade and has helped hundreds of thousands of people it is impossible to ignore it. Stop following food and follow Jesus instead is what the slogan of this new diet to hit the UK shore lines is.

You may be asking yourself how on earth Jesus can make you thin, but on deeper inspection, I realized that the diet is centralized around getting to the root of the problem. Maybe this diet can succeed where all else have failed if this is the case.

One of the main reasons why many people are overweight is that their life evolves around comfort eating. They try with many diets and when these fail to show results, the person ends up depressed and starts eating again to combat that stress.

A person could be comfort eating for any personal reason, maybe they have just come out of a relationship, or a pet has just died. The fact is, everyone goes through times in there life where a hurt and needy heart wants to be feed, but using food to cure this is just the wrong thing to do.

The weigh down program forces you to ask yourself questions such as, Why do you eat? Have you let food control your life? Even people who are happy with their weight can ask these questions and realize that food does play too big a role in their lives.

At last though, a weight loss program that is aimed at tackling the source of obesity and not just the focusing on the cure. Although there is a very strong emphasis on religion, you do not have to be religious to understand what this program is explaining. Which is, replace the need in your heart with love in your heart. In other words, feel fulfilled and you will never have to overeat to fulfill your heart again.

By stopping eating your meals when you are satisfied and having the strength to stop, you will be losing fat and curing the cures to your old eating habits.
