So it helps tremendously to think in terms of overall eating habits. If you are overweight, then your eating habits probably aren’t as healthy as they could be. Instead of making drastic changes that would require incredible amounts of willpower, make slower, more gradual ones. This way they’ll have a much higher likelihood of sticking.
So how do you get started with these changes? Start to make better eating choices. Take a few minutes to think before you eat. Eat more proteins, and good fats, that will keep you full for a longer period of time. Eat less sugary snacks and junk carbohydrates like french fries and potato chips.
When you smarter eating choices, and slowly blend them into your daily eating habits, you’ll be amazed how quickly they add up. They will quickly snowball into new habits that will keep you healthy and trim for the rest of your life.
